You will be required to carry out first, second and final fix Joinery work on major and minor construction works undertaken by the company to a high standard. You may work on different sites across the company.
Main Responsibilities
* Fit door casings, window boards, flooring, window frames etc. and all general first fixings works
* Fit doors, skirting's, staircases and fitted furniture associated with second fix works
* Fit roof joist, chamber joist, and partitions
* Fit furniture and ironmongery
* Shuttering joinery works for concrete
* Internal shop fitting, bar work, office work and public building work
* Utilize skills to work with other trades such as plumbers, bricklayers etc.
* Repairs and refurbishment works
* Ability to use hand and power tools using a variety of materials
* Communicates with all members of the team
* Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Essential requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Driving Licence
* Good communication skills
* The ability to work well within a team environment
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to pay attention to detail
* The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Able to work on own initiative
* Able to maintain strict confidentiality when appropriate.
* Must have a pin gun
* CSCS Card
