An Engineering Scheduler for a permanent role for our client based in the Cheshire area to start as soon as possible.
Summary of Position:
Our client is a professional column turnaround and shutdown specialist, providing high level service to the refining and petrochemical industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain project schedules for key projects within the oil and gas sector.
* To assist with bids at tender stage developing a working schedule.
* Track completion of the project during execution.
* Continuous updates to management with variations and progress within the schedule.
* Work alongside engineering team to develop schedules where others input will be given for durations and relationships.
* Good understanding of project resources and levelling.
* Understanding of project calendars & assigning various calendars to one schedule.
* Ability to study variations from planning vs execution and highlight these moving forward.
* Understanding of Gant Charts, Resource usage sheets & histograms.
Skills/Experience:
* Experience within the oil and gas sector is not mandatory - looking for an individual who possess the correct attitude and ability within Microsoft Project. Training & development will be given.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, P6 would be advantageous but not essential.
Salary:
£25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
