Accreditation and Information Officer - Contract - Expired

Dutton Recrutiment require and Accrediation and Information Officer for a role due to begin on 30th July 2018 and to last an initial 6 month period.

Role Specific Responsibilities

To co-ordinate the preparation of returns of data and statistical information to support the accreditation process. This could include:

*

* sourcing/manipulating/production of data to meet accrediting body requirements
* interpretation and understanding of the data in order to identify errors or anomalies
* documenting the processes and providing transparent audit trails
* contributing to the sense checking of returns and promoting good practice in relation to information quality
* liaising with accrediting bodies as required
* liaison with Faculty and Directorate staff to obtain and manage information
* fostering awareness of quality and standards issues, particularly where accuracy and presentation of data are concerned.



* To contribute to the production and delivery of information as required. This includes:

* co-ordinating the gathering of appropriate information from a variety of sources
* ensuring that information is accurate, well-presented and that deadlines are achieved
* manipulating the information to best fit for returns/presentation
* developing and gathering materials required for the accreditation process
* contributing to the development of submissions as part of the accreditation process
* gathering and managing other Faculty information as required



* To lead on the completion of the staff information system, Academ, project working with DTS and the supplier and support future developments.



* To work to a schedule of activities for accreditation and ensure processes are in place to support the timely submission of reports and other documentation



* To contribute to Faculty projects and process improvements as required.



* To support other professional body accreditation as required.



* Any other duties as deemed commensurate with this role.



The essential criteria for the role is advanced skills in Access and Excel, but particularly with regards to Access databases. Our client has a complicated Access database linked to a SQL database that houses important data for their accreditation reports. The person will be responsible for maintaining the database and for accreditation data.
