We are looking for a Stores Person for a permanent position in Mansfield.
Immediate start available.
The role consists of working in our client's busy stores department with one other stores person reporting to the Stores Co-Ordinator and Procurement Manager.
Candidate must be physically fit & hard-working individual who can work to a pick list and identify products, whilst ensuring goods are packed in a suitable manner.
IT skills are required to book in goods and use courier systems.
Training will be given on our client's IT packages.
The ideal candidate would need to have the following attributes:
* Hard Working & physically fit.
* Ability to work with others as part of a team.
* Attention to detail.
* Can do attitude.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to pack obscure packages in a manner they will arrive in one piece to the end user.
* Good level of IT skills (Use of courier systems and potential use of stock management systems).
* Ability to work to deadlines.
* Counterbalance forklift is required and pivot steer forklift would be an advantage.
* Engineering background would be advantageous.

Duties include:
* Receiving & handling goods inwards.
* Putting deliveries away
* Receiving goods inwards on computer.
* Picking and packing customer orders for both domestic and international shipment.
* Using computer to book on courier system.
* General stores housekeeping.
Hours of work:
* Standard - 40hours (Day shift only)
* Overtime available
* Salary - £10.00-£10.50/hour
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
