Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for a experienced, skilled & versatile Plater/Foreman for the construction of our products working in their specialist industry.

Candidate will need to have excellent fabrication, mechanical skills.

Must be able to read CAD drawings, with the ability to fabricate & assemble large fabrications.

The position is also for a working foreman with the right skill set to lead a small team in the production and onsite installation of our products.

This will require good communication between the design team and shop floor with the ability to organise and motivate the team for efficient production in a mechanical engineering environment, as well as onsite.

Candidates will be required to work at our facilities in Dewsbury for product manufacture, and working away on site around the UK for the installations.

Note: The position involves working away from home around the UK for up to 2 weeks at a time.

The candidate must.......

· Have a full drivers licences with 6 points or less

· Have excellent fabrication skills

· Have a pragmatic & logical approach to problems

· Must lead by example

· Be a team player

· Ensure the safety of yourself and others, working to HSE policies.

· Be able to organise and motivate a team

· Be confident and polite dealing with our client's customers

· Able to arrange permits to work & ensure customers site H&S policies are followed.

· Have good delegation and management skills

· Maintained good housekeeping in the workshop & onsite

NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Plating or Fabrication and Welding would be expected.

CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport would also be expected.

Salary is between £35,000 and £38,000 per annum depending on experience.
