Mechanical Site Manager

Our client is an M&E Installation Company that mainly focus on Commercial office category A and B refurbishment works. They facilitate the design, installation, commissioning, and aftercare of these projects. They are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Site Manager to manage their projects and deliver excellence across all aspects of the business. The successful candidate must have experience in working within a team and good people skills are essential. An expectation of your role would be to travel to and from the office as required but this would be infrequent, and generally only occurs for training days, pre-start meeting, or commissioning close out meetings.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Managing the day-to-day progress of the installation with a large emphasis on Safety, Quality and time management
Conduct toolbox talks
Produce RAMS
RFI's
Material Take-offs
Two week look aheads
Liaise with the client and support the project manager at client/site meetings
Ensure that works are being carried out to spec and to program.
Qualifications
Trade skills or qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable but the primary skill for this role is to have responsibility and accountability for the management of the site
