We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter for a permanent position for a client based in Sheffield in their Workshop but will be some travel involved to sites locally.
Salary is depending on experience.
Experience in induction furnace equipment in not essential as on-going training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overhauling and repairing various types of induction furnace equipment. This includes inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting furnace components, making any necessary repairs, and performing preventive maintenance. They will be responsible for ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment and adhering to industry standards. Additionally, they will be expected to stay abreast of new technologies and procedures to ensure the highest level of service.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and quality control procedures
* Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems with the equipment
* Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering to be considered.
