We are looking for a Machine Tool Fitter for a permanent position in Sheffield.
Job responsibilities:
* Experience repairing and maintaining large vertical borers particularly Webster and Bennett machines and various large capacity lathe machines. Experience of rotating machinery is also important.
* A recognised mechanical apprenticeship (4year) is critical.
* Experience fault finding and problem solving of a range of engineering equipment, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and willing to take on non-engineering duties to support the plant.
* AssistIing the site maintenance team with the installation and commissioning of brand-new machinery.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
This will be working alternative mornings (6am to 2pm) and days (12pm to 10pm).
Rate of pay is £14.05 per hour. Overtime rates will apply
