We are currently looking for a Loading Shovel Driver for a permanent position in Leicestershire.
Immediate start available.
This will be working 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights).
Purpose of role : Responsibilities are maintaining safe and efficient operation of plant equipment. Maintaining a safe working area, ensuring Fuel hall stock level is maintained which is critical to plant operation.
Responsible to: Shift Team Leader
Ensure safe vehicle movements are conducted around site.
Manage the biomass fuel levels within the fuel hall. Move and load the fuel within the fuel hall and ensure safe vehicle manoeuvring within these areas. Assist with the fuel sampling when required.
Job responsibilities:
* Monitoring and implementing company H&S and environmental policy.
* Knowledge of driver's laws and regulations
* Must have excellent organisational & communication skills
* Experience driving a loading shovel essential
* Counterbalance forklift & telehandler experience desirable
* Able to load and unload HGV vehicles
* Rotating shifts
* Must have a clean Driving licence
* Must be able to work in a team
* Ideal backgrounds would be Energy from waste, water treatment or Anaerobic Digestion
* You will be involved in monitoring the process and be involved hands on in the operation of the plant
Essential: Must have a front loader operator's Licence (NPORS) or equivalent.
Desirable: Experience in operating counterbalance forklift.
Salary is between £26.920 per annum (depending on experience).
