We are looking for a Laser Planner for a permanent position in Sheffield.

The main purpose for this position is to draw, nest, check and cost laser parts for the sales estimating team.

Duties:

The main duties for this position are to:



* Draw, nest, check and cost laser for the sales estimating team.
* Check drawings for laser before issuing them to the works.
* Read and understand assembly and component engineering drawings.
* Nest material for the laser cutting machines using Lantek or other software.
* Work with Production Management and the ERP system to ensure parts are cut when required.
* Keep production planning boards and ERP system up to date with production planning and progress.
* Ensure that sufficient stock is available to cut parts when required.
* Follow all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures laid down in the Management Manual.
* Follow all company safety procedures and work in such a manner to maintain the safety of yourself and others.
* Perform other duties as requested by the Business Directors or Management Team.

Must have previous experience in a laser environment.

Salary is £20,000 per annum.
