Fabricator Welders for permanent positions in the Leeds area.
Immediate starts available.
We are looking for Fabricator Welders who must be apprentice trained and fully qualified in all aspects of general fabrication and welding [MIG and MMA].
This will involve reading and working to drawings, site measuring and preparation of details, material call offs, preparation of cutting lists, assembly and welding fabrications.
This will also involve installation of the above, mostly in mild steel with some stainless steel and aluminium.
Must have full UK driving licence, be flexible, conscientious, hardworking and be capable of working on own initiative or as part of a team.
A willingness to work away from home here in the UK & abroad [mostly central Europe] on our client's plant/ maintenance projects would be an advantage.
CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport would be advantageous.
Must be familiar with using all types general fabrication equipment : Guillotine, punches, drills, saws, rollers and metalworking machines etc, although specific training will be given.
Will be required to work according to ISO 9001, EN 1090 [CE marking] standards and our client's health and safety systems.
Rate of pay:
£12.00 per hour for the first 39 hours.
£18.00 per hour for overtime after 39 hours and Saturday
£24.00 per hour for Sundays and Bank Holidays
39 hours must be worked before overtime is paid.
Overseas site work rates are enhanced (per project)
