We are looking for a Fabric Estimators, applicant must have minim 5 years exp working in M&E/Construction. We are seeking applicants with commercial acumen and a mind capable of financial analysis. strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail. You'll also need to be able to communicate well, verbally and in writing, and be able to manage projects. Organisational and presentational skills are crucial to meet tight deadlines. Be able to grasp the dynamics of a Built Environment and anticipate Building Systems given limited information.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of quoted works process in order to maximise revenue and operating profit
Estimate the costs of projects in order to meet or exceed the client's requirements
Ensure excellent quality of reports delivered to clients/Directors
To carry out building fabric audits across a wide range of buildings
Produce accurate quantification and costing of construction remedial works
Negotiate effectively with clients, attending senior management meetings as and when required
Fit out and Building Fabric Experience
Determine contractual, financial, technical and operational risks and to find opportunities to minimise risk and maximise gross profit
Support the fulfilment of the programme of works safely, on time and to the required quality while maximizing the gross profit and client's satisfaction
Deliver accurate prime cost submissions at the adjudication meeting in a professional and logical manner.
Advise line Manager/Directors of improvements / innovation within the company or externally that you become aware of.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
IT literate with MS office skills
Previous experience in a similar position
Commercial Awareness
Have strong organisational skills and able to present information in a logical manner
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Able to work as an individual and work co-operatively as part of a team
Excellent communication skills both written and verb
BTEC HNC, HND or degree in
