Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:

We are looking for CNC Router Operators for permanent positions in Barnsley.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process).

Rate of pay is £12.00 per hour (working on days).

The CNC operators will be setting and operating CNC routers.

The correct candidates will be able to set the machine up to program specifications, check tooling and ensure the safe operation of the machine.

The ideal candidates should have the following skills:

* Programming and operating of a CNC Router machine and helping to maintain a safe working environment

Key Responsibilities:

* Knowledge and understanding of CNC Router safety systems.
* Work to process, incorporating SSOW's/Quality standards. (clean, Detagged etc.)
* Periodically check all equipment is maintained to high standards and report issues.
* Performing CNC router machines bed setting & checking.
* Performing CNC router bed changing & skimming.
* Performing CNC router tool changing & setting.
* Knowledge & understanding of speed settings.
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance including but not limited to checking oil, grease & coolant levels.
* Basic Diagnostics of CNC Routers and components.
* Operation & understanding of extraction systems.
* Safe loading & unloading of material.
* Operation & understanding of material handling machine.
* Evaluate materials/parts etc. before activities carried out and on completion of parts conform to quality checks.
* Be flexible to perform duties throughout other departments.
