Building Safety Coordinator required for our local authority client based in North London
£22.56 per hour PAYE
THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity for a Building Safety Coordinator within the councils Building Safety team.
The successful applicant will be required to lead on the inspection and management of councils 53 High Rise Residential Buildings and assist with the creation of the Building Safety Cases for each HRRB.
The role will also involve ensuring that the buildings are compliant with The Building Safety Act, and ensuring that works identified as part of the inspection regime are carried out in accordance with compliancy and in a timely manner.
The role will require excellent inter-departmental communication skills as well as a focus on stakeholder engagement. Enfield council is fast paced and the ability to adapt and prioritise to a changing environment is essential.
The successful candidate will be required to visit our High Rise Residential Blocks on a daily basis so a full and clean drivers licence is essential.
The role will also involve understanding work requires as per the current legislation so an in depth knowledge of The Building Safety Act is also an essential requirement. "
