We are looking for a Book Keeper for a permanent position in Scunthorpe.

Immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Monthly payroll
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assisting with collating documents for Annual tax returns
* Sales & purchase ledgers
* Bank payments
* Petty cash
* Fixed assets
* Invoicing
* Creditors
* Supplier payments and managing debtors reporting/credit control
* Cashflow forecasting and reporting
* Produce monthly management accounts
* Assisting Management of month end and year end processes
* P60 & P11D
* Workplace pension contributions
* Annual accounts preparation and liaising with external accountant
* Expenses
* Records management
* Other ad hoc duties as directed by a manager.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

* AAT Level 3 Qualification or similar
* Demonstrable experience (3 years+) working in a similar bookkeeping/accountancy role
* Proven accounts experience using Xero (including Payroll & Projects functions)
* Strong MS Excel capabilities
* Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with staff and management at all levels will also be essential.

* VAT Reverse Scheme
* VAT Processing and submitting Returns for VAT Group Companies

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm (flexible).

The role is 100% office based

Salary: £25,000.00 - £28,000 per year based on full time.
