Payroll

Whilst working for us, your pay may take several different routes, all will ultimately result in you being paid accurately and on time.

On a weekly basis we payroll over 3,000 people across the country and pride ourselves on our accuracy and our diligence in getting our people paid correctly.

Permanent Placing

If we have found you a permanent position with one of our Clients then prior to you commencing your employment you will have filled out all the appropriate contracts and payroll information directly with them. Our quality control will ensure that they meet the strict guidelines of payroll quality that we ourselves meet. From commencement of employment you will then be paid as per the terms of your new employer. Reassuringly, one of our Consultants will be on hand throughout the first few months of your new job to advise you on any queries you may have and to assist you in providing any information you may need.

Temporary to Permanent placing (Temp to Perm)

This method of employment allows our Client to recruit you temporarily through us whilst ensuring that they have sufficient need and resources to offer you a permanent job on their books. This method of employment also offers them the opportunity to asses your skills and capabilities whilst being payrolled through us. Throughout this time they have the opportunity to offer you permanent employment after a set period. Whilst working for the Client and being paid by us you will be paid on a weekly basis and must fill out timesheets weekly with your wage being paid a week in lieu.

Contract and Temporary Placement - PAYE

This method of work allows our Clients to employ our staff only as and when they are needed. They pay staff only for the hours that are worked (not lunches, breaks or sickness etc). by working through a PAYE (Pay as you earn) we will deduct Tax, National Insurance and any other statuatory deductions from your gross wage in line with government regulations. As with other operatives you will be paid weekly. One week in lieu. Subject to a signed timesheet being received from you by the latest of the Monday of the following week to which you have worked. We reserve the right to delay payment for any timesheets that are received late, incomplete or illegible.

Contract and Temporary Placement – Umbrella Company

This method of work allows our Clients to employ our staff only as and when they are needed. They pay staff only for the hours that are worked (not lunches, breaks or sickness etc). by working through an Umbrella Company we will pay your chosen Company (see the “Umbrella Companies” tab on the left) in gross with the responsibility being placed upon you, your accountant or your Chosen provider to deduct and pay any Tax, National and Insurance contributions from your gross wage in line with government regulations. Unlike through other payment methods, Holiday Pay isn’t typically deducted from your final wage. You may also be eligible to claim back mileage and other expenses through this option. As with other operatives you will be paid weekly. One week in lieu. Subject to a signed timesheet being received from you by the latest of the Monday of the following week to which you have worked. We reserve the right to delay payment for any timesheets that are received late, incomplete or illegible.

This method of work allows our Clients to employ our staff only as and when they are needed. They pay staff only for the hours that are worked (not lunches, breaks or sickness etc). by working through a Limited Company we will pay you in gross with the responsibility being placed upon you and your Accountant to deduct and pay any Tax, National and Insurance contributions from your gross wage in line with government regulations. Unlike through other payment methods, Holiday Pay isn’t typically deducted from your final wage. You may also be eligible to claim back mileage and other expenses through this option. As with other operatives you will be paid weekly. One week in lieu. Subject to a signed timesheet being received from you by the latest of the Monday of the following week to which you have worked. We reserve the right to delay payment for any timesheets that are received late, incomplete or illegible. In order to pay you through your own limited company it is essential that prior to starting work for us we must have copies of your Certificate of Incorporation and Public Liability Certificate prior to commencement of your contract.

Throughout all of our Payroll options, it is essential that we ask for and receive certain documentation in-line with legal Payroll and Eligibility to Work Regulations.

This documentation includes:

  • Passport or Birth Certificate copies
  • Driving Licence copies
  • Health Questionnaire
  • Contract of Employment
  • Date of Birth and National Insurance Number Confirmation
  • Criminal Conviction Declaration Confirmation
  • Proof of Professional qualifications

All or some of the above documentation may be requested prior to and during your commencement of employment with us depending on the particular job you will be doing. In some instances, further documentation may be required.

Failure or delay in providing us with the requested documentation could result in delay of payment or cancellation of contract.
