Dutton Nursing and Medical are currently working with one of our clients to recruit 2 permanent support workers to work 35 hours per week. Our client specialises in supporting adults with mental health issues and they have a residential service, a supported living service and they also support clients out in the community who live in their own homes. The role is to work 35 hours per week and will be a mixture of long days (12 hr shifts 7am-7pm) and earlies and lates. The position is for a day worker but from time to time you may be required to work the odd night shift depending on the needs of the service.

The role will involve supporting vulnerable people with day to day living, budgeting, cooking, support in the community, accessing services, doctors' appointments, maintaining their rooms and living accommodation, emotional support and support with personal hygiene. Full training and induction will be given so you don't need to have experience. You will complete your training and induction in the residential service but once you are fully trained you will support in the residential home, the supported living service (located 4 doors down) and their clients that live in the community. You will ideally be a driver, but this is not essential.
