A Structural Engineer for a permanent position in our client's Engineering Department based at their main office in the Tockwith area.
Our client have specialised in delivering some of the most iconic projects in recent times. Olympic Ceremonies, global events, production launches, architerctural pavilions, theatre and TV sets are all things that they are regularly called on to help create.
We are looking for a Structural Engineer to work in our client's Costing and Project Management Teams on a wide variety of projects undertaken across the work. The successful candidate will work closely with the current Structural Engineer during his phased reduction in hours towards his voluntary retirement later in 2018.
Experience of steel and timber with a varied experience in all forms of construction and building types is essential.
Experience Required:
* Degree in Civil/Structrual Engineering
* Experience in Structural Analysis Design
* Experience of working with timber, steel and aluminium structures
* Experience of working with British and Eurocodes
* Proficient IT User - AutoCAD Inventor knowledge & Masterseries structural analysis
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience of multi-tasking in a busy and varied environment
* Flexible and able to prioritise a changing "to do list"
* Highly organised and self-motivated
* Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
* Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
