Senior Healthcare Assistant - Agency Work

We are seeing an increase in demand from our clients for experienced and reliable Senior Healthcare Assistants who are able to efficiently lead a shift, delegate tasks and ensure the saftey of all service users.
Job Description Overview
- Arriving on time for handover from the previous senior
- Leading the shift and delegating tasks amongst team members.
- Ensuring the team delivers a high standard of care to all service users.
- Ensuring the safety of all service users.
- Assisting with personal care on both male and female residents and service users.
- Administering medication.
-Using electronic systems to log medication usage.
- Assisting with feeding as and when required.
- Assisting with laundry, cleaning and other activities to ensure a cleanly and homely environment is always present for residents and service users.
- Completing documentation such as daily records, fluid charts, hourly checks and various others to the highest standards possible.
- Assisting with moving and handling of residents and service users, utilising safe moving and handling practices.
- Responding to call bells and other immediate duties.
- Ensure a full handover is completed before leaving the site.
Essential Criteria
- 3 months' recent UK based paid experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant.
- You must have right to work in the UK.
- A person-centred approach to delivering care.
