Dutton Social care and Nursing are working in partnership with a medium sized care and nursing home to recruit for a passionate and caring Senior Care Assistant to work on their 20 bedded residential unit in Sheffield.
The residential unit supports older people with additional support needs and as the senior care assistant you will be responsible for running the shift, co-ordinating care duties, ensuring all of the residents are well and looked after, conducting the medication round, liaising with outside agencies and family members and recording daily logs of what has happened and the residents health and wellbeing. You must have your L2 in Health and social care as a minimum but be willing to work towards your Level 3 in Health and social care. You must be medication trained and have worked as a senior care assistant/shift leader in the past. You will be passionate, bubble, have a good work ethic and be able to motivate and lead a team. You will be detail orientated and very person centred and have a kind and caring nature. The role is to work 33.75 hours per week on a rolling rota which include 3 long days per week 7.15am-7.30pm.

Up to £8.70 per hour + ongoing training and development
