We are currently looking for a Panel Wirer for contract work until around April 2021 in the Halifax area for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

* To work as part of the PWP team fitting and wiring of PWP's
* Testing of products to ensure quality and safety sytems are met and comply with 18th edition of IEE regs and BSEN 60439
* Report on works order progress to include efficiencies, start and completion dates and where affected impact to the planned completion date.
* Record and report on all quality issues.
* Ensure all work equipment is operated in a safe manner and that equipment is maintained and operational at all times.
* Champion and promote a highly performing Health and Safety culture
* Identify risks in the work place, in conjunction with the operations manager create risk assessments and safe systems of work to control and reduce the risk.

Role Description:

Responsible for the assembly, wiring and testing of Pre Wired Pillars (these are basically distribution units), report any impacts to the plan, work hours and works orders are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.

Quality issues are reported, recorded and corrective actions are put in place to prevent reoccurrence.



Skills:

* Computer literate (Word/Excel)
* ERP/MRP system literate (Syspro advantageous)
* Good communicator
* Team focused
* Analytical and ability to problem solve
* H&S focused
* Ability to apply Continuous Improvement techniques

Education Level required:

* O Level in Mathematics, English and Science
* HNC in Electrical and Electronic Principles (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition of IEE regulations certified

Rate of pay is £15.00 per hour.
