Working closely with a broad portfolio of clients ranging from blue chip organisations and household names through to niche SMEs, the client pride themselves in collaborating closely with their customers. They collaboratively create exactly the right solution that allows them to deliver a control panel and system that works immediately it is installed.
The client are controlling systems around the globe. They can be found behind the scenes in a wide range of settings from top holiday parks to international sports stadia and major high-tech manufacturing sites.
Core to their business is the ability to offer a tailored design and build service, with their experienced engineering team offering an unrivalled expertise in the design of control panels across a range of sectors.
Due to growth in the business, an opportunity has arisen for Panel Wiremen within the engineering team.
Skills and experience
Essential
* Prior experience of building and wiring low voltage, electrical control panels
* Able to independently wire control panels in accordance with schematic wiring diagrams
* Able to fit components in line with engineering drawings
* Able to accurate size, cut and crimp cables in accordance with agree standards
* Able to identify and address issues identified in production
* Able to maintain accurate production records
Desirable
* Able to carry out point to point testing
* Experience of on-site modification and repair of control panels
* ECS or CSCS card
The Candidate
* Able to work to a high standard of quality
* Strong attention to detail
* A self-starter and problem solver who is comfortable working with minimal supervision
* Comfortable with working to deadlines
* Good interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with production colleagues, the Bensons design team and customers
Working hours are:
Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30
Friday 07:00 to 14:00
