Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for:
A Mobile Plant Fitter for a permanent position in the Worksop area.
Immediate start available.
The purpose of this role is to carry out remedial work to refuse collection vehicles, ensuring vehicles are prepared to relevant standards and to customers satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a workshop environment or as an onsite engineer and will have experience of working with both body and chassis maintenance and repair.
Applicants will need to be willing to work overtime at short notice, so flexibility is essential.
Experience working with hyraulics and pneumatics would be advantageous, as would experience with PLC's.
This role would suit applicants with a fitting or fabrication and welding background as there will be aspects of all 3 disciplines involved in the role.
Relevant training can be provided but a background in mechanical engineering is required.
Rate of pay:
Rate of pay is £12.80 per hour for basic hours, £19.20 per hour for overtime during the week and Saturday and £25.60 per hour for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
