Mechanical Fitters for permanent positions in the Buxton area.
Immediate starts available.
This will be assisting our client who are a specialist refractory manufacturer and processor of refractory minerals.
Job Requirements:
* Day to day maintenance
* Mechanical fault findings
* PPM, project work, modifications
* Other duties to include, welding, fabricating, mobile plant, operating engineering machinery
Person Specification:
* Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment
* Good mechanical skills (hydraulic, pneumatic, motors, LEV)
* Willing to train and develop
* Motivated and flexible to work overtime and weekends
* Engineering qualifications or time served
This will be working in a production environment.
Hours of work : Monday to Friday - 39 Hours / week + shift working + overtime at weekends
Salary is between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
