An Industrial Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position in Essex to start as soon as possible.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with appreciation of high pressure systems and ability to overhaul non-return valves and safety valves is a minimum.
Pipefitting and ability to overhaul control valves would be a bonus.
The role:
* Maintenance/overhaul of various components in the workshop.
* Leading on various site shutdowns
* Overhauling pressure relief valves/non-return valves
* Industrial pipefitting
* Understanding of technical drawings
* Ability to carry out site measurements/relay information to designers
* Ensuring quality checks, writing/signing off RAMS/work orders
* Liaising directly with directors to plan works in order of priority
* Liaising with designers on new projects
* Liaising with H&S Manager regarding RAMS
* Maintain neat & tidy working environment
* Ensuring tools and equipment is booked out and returned
* Communicating consumable/material requirements
* Supervising & training apprentices
* Assisting with organisation of the clients transport/deliveries
Rate of pay:
Rate of pay is £15.52 per hour for basic hours, £20.69 per hour for Saturday/Evening work and £25.87 per hour for Sunday/Bank Holiday.
