An experienced machinist who can operate both manual and CNC machines:
The Role:
* Line boring experience, Multi skilled, Heidenhain skills beneficial, Operate manual machines not just CNC.
* Milling Machining skills essential.
* Ability to programme on Shop Mill system preferred but not essential
* 2/3 Axis programming skills required as a minimum.
* Quality assurance inspection of parts according to charts
* Maintain efficiency records of equipment
* Manual statistical testing to ensure machine is to specifications
* Perform safety and housekeeping tasks
* Perform all machine set up duties
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks

SKILLS
* Can demonstrate the ability to understand and work with complex Engineering Drawings.
* Can demonstrate the ability to work to fine limits/tolerances.
* Has a proactive approach to work, using own initiative when required and is able to source tooling, jigs or fixtures.
The Role:
Responsible for the hydro testing of all pump products, including the preparation, setting up, testing and fault finding of prototype models. The tests must also be completed on time and that all equipment is maintained in a safe and calibrated manner. Must have an extensive working knowledge of hydro testing in identical or similar working environments and preferably be a time served Mechanical Fitter.
Salary:
£26,375 basic plus overtime opportunities; 6% employer pension scheme; 4 x life cover; sick pay.
