A Field Service Technician for a permanent position in Sheffield for an immediate start.
The client specialise in High Voltage, Motors and Generators.
Key Responsibilites:
* Reporting to the Works Supervisor and performing an extensive range of mechanical and electrical maintenance activities on a large range of electrical machines both on site, in works & overseas.
* Accurate reporting of results
* Drafting of clear and concise technical reports
* Fault finding and emergency call out support on Generators and Motors
Must have extensive experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance activities including machine stripdowns, winding inspections, bearing inspections, repairs and overhauls of High Voltage Rotating machines within a similar motor/generator service or manufacturing environment.
Eductated to ideally HNC/HND level or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
