Dutton Recruitment are currently looking for reliable, hardworking and motivated care assistants and support workers to work in Doncaster, supporting older people with dementia, EMI and support needs. We are also looking for strong support workers to support adults with learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge, autism and complex needs.
We have a selection of shifts available ranging from earlies, lates and long days plus ongoing night shifts. You will be responsible for supporting clients throughout the day with daily life skills, support in the community - attending appointments, going shopping, budgeting and finances. Support with personal care and hygiene, working with clients with mental health issues, complex behaviours and utilising behavioural management techniques. We have work in residential services, supporting living, forensic mental health units and out in the community.
To be considered for these roles you must have up to date mandatory training however mandatory refresher courses can be arranged. You will have a DBS on the online DBS system or be prepared to do another one and be able to give us satisfactory references to send off from previous employers. You must also have a years' worth of paid care/ support assistant experience in the last 2 years.
Due to the current state of emergency we are unable to register people in the office as we are no longer allowed to have visitors. However to ensure we continue to recruit staff to work with people in care/support and nursing services across the area we are arranging remote registrations, to ensure you can get out working and care for those in need. If you have to appropriate skills, experience and training we will be in contact with you quickly to discuss the above.
