Candidate Success Story

Here at Dutton Recruitment, our candidates’ success is central to our mission. We want achievement across the board – for our clients, their projects, and the staff working with them. In our Nursing & Medical Teams this is even more crucial – the work that staff do in this industry changes people’s lives, and so care and attention must be shown by ourselves as well as the staff.

Despite all of them doing fantastic things on a daily basis, every so often someone achieves above and beyond, and deserves recognition. One candidate in particular, is Balal Saleem.

Balal Saleem has worked for Dutton Recruitment for many years, he said – “I joined the organisation to allow me the flexibility and prospect to grow in a service that truly cares. I have worked on various projects since my commencement with Dutton, including: Quality Assurance for children and families services, Out of Hours management in children and families services, frontline support work with adults with additional / complex needs as well as children and families and so on.”

Balal has always been fantastic, not only in the work he does for people, but also in representing an ethos we care so deeply about at Dutton. Recently though, Balal has been recognised by the local authority that he worked for and received an ‘Excellence in Practice Award’.

“One of my more recent roles include my appointment as a Missing Person’s Officer working within a multi-agency child sexual exploitation team in a lead local authority, working with some of the country’s most vulnerable children and young people. I was commended by this particular local authority and its partnership stakeholders for my ‘Excellence in Practice’ – I received an award in recognition of my drive and commitment to deliver a valued service.”

This award is a fantastic achievement, and is truly deserved by Balal – congratulations!

So what motivates him to do such brilliant work?

“I deeply have a growing passion for empowering others; enabling others to live their life ‘to the full’ which is why I do what I do best – I care. Working in this wonderful sector allows me to confidently leave work knowing that I have (in whatever way possible) made a difference.”
